Where did my H1 go?

If you set a heading tag to H1 on any section, the slideshow's automatic H1 politely demotes itself to H2 — that's the override system working as designed (how it works). Note the theme editor's live preview can briefly show the pre-demotion state when a single section refreshes; the real storefront is always correct — check with View Source if you want certainty.

The currency or language picker isn't showing

The pickers only render when there's a genuine choice: two or more active markets (currency) or two or more published languages (language) under Settings → Markets in Shopify admin. One market = no picker, by design.

My mega menu block isn't working

The block matches your menu item by exact title. "Shop All" won't match "Shop all". Copy the item name from Online Store → Navigation and paste it into the block.

The placeholder images look odd / where do they come from?

Sections show Shopify's grey placeholder art until you pick real images — they scale and crop like real photos and disappear the moment you set your own. Placeholders on a published store usually just mean a section is missing its image.

Slides don't rotate

Rotation needs two or more slides and the auto-rotate toggle on. It also pauses while the cursor is over the slideshow, and is disabled for visitors whose devices request reduced motion — an accessibility feature, not a bug.

I set a mobile image but desktop shows it / vice versa

Mobile images apply below the tablet breakpoint; desktop images at and above it. Check the per-image "Use mobile image on mobile" switch — off means the desktop image shows everywhere.

Search flyout shows no results

Predictive search needs at least two characters and searches product titles, types, vendors and variants. "No results" with a correct spelling usually means the products are in Draft status or excluded from the Online Store sales channel.
